Senior Financial Analyst (CPA)

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Financial Analyst
to join a dynamic finance team supporting financial reporting, regulatory accounting, and corporate financial operations. This role is ideal for a Canadian CPA with strong expertise in IFRS reporting, financial analysis, internal controls, and month-end/quarter-end close processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, support regulatory requirements, improve financial processes, and provide valuable insights that help drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly financial statement note disclosures.
• Prepare routine and complex journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end and quarter-end close.
• Support consolidated financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and operational support for regulatory reporting and internal management reporting.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control processes.
• Support external audit activities by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Analyze financial results, identify key business drivers, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging IFRS standards and assist with implementation of new accounting and disclosure requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and process enhancements.
• Assess, monitor, and strengthen internal controls and risk management practices.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and collaborate with business partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
