JOB OVERVIEW
REPORTS TO: Manager, Operations Finance
Spring Living Retirement Communities is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted finance partner for a larger and more complex portfolio of retirement communities. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Finance, this role works closely with Executive Directors, operational leaders and the finance team to support accurate reporting, strong controls and improved operating performance.
The role owns the full accounting cycle for assigned communities, supports acquisitions and special projects, and helps coach Financial Analysts to drive consistency and best practices across Operations Finance.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close:
- Lead the full month-end close process for a larger and more complex portfolio of retirement communities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and complete monthly financial statements.
- Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy and reasonableness before management reporting.
