Primary function

This position will be responsible for identifying issues with PeopleSoft functionality within the business unit and the processes it supports and providing functional/technical support as needed.

Home Location: Toronto Provincial Office

Reporting to: Manager, Management Reporting and Systems

Key accountabilities

• Assist the Finance department by identifying PeopleSoft and business process issues or concerns and proposing feasible solutions
• Assist with preparation of analysis of business processes on PeopleSoft
• Creation of Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for new and proposed initiatives
• Perform FAT and UAT in PeopleSoft as required
• Implement approved solutions, including testing prior to migration to production environment
• Attend project meetings and design/analysis initiatives
• Submit ad hoc requests to IT
• Assist with creation of Training Manuals and Job Aids as required
• Create and distribute detailed work and test plans
• Assist in preparation of periodic management reports and queries using SQL, and PeopleSoft Query Manager
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Provide technical resources to staff and management within the department
• Other duties as assigned

Required skills & experience

- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (at least 5 years)
- CPA designation an asset
