POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Engineer I, DevOps plays a pivotal role in building & maintaining our infrastructure, collaborating closely with software development and implementation teams, and ensuring the security and compliance of our systems. The Senior Engineer I, DevOps will be responsible for driving automation initiatives, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, managing Software as a Service (SaaS) tools, Identity and Access Management (IAM) permission management, generating insightful reports, and enhancing our security posture.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing, developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
• Use AI tools including GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and code quality. Apply AI-first methodologies across the full software delivery lifecycle. Leverage AI-powered platforms to improve incident detection, triage, and response. Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools to drive efficiency and reduce operational toil.
• Writing scripts and developing automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, increase efficiency, and reduce manual intervention in the deployment and management processes.
• Manage source code repositories using version control systems like Git and ensure code collaboration practices.
