About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for cloud-based application development, modernization, and DevSecOps implementation in support of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

The Senior Cloud Software Engineer supports HUD’s enterprise modernization strategy by designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable cloud-native solutions that enable data interoperability, AI readiness, and DevSecOps capabilities across the agency.

This position contributes to HUD’s Foundation-First modernization initiative by supporting enterprise data architecture, secure cloud services, and integrated DevSecOps pipelines while ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity standards and Zero Trust principles.

The Senior Cloud Software Engineer works as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting HUD OCIO modernization initiatives including cloud transformation, AI readiness, enterprise data architecture, and cybersecurity modernization.

This is a fully remote position supporting a federal government contract that requires a federal background check and NACI clearance. Candidates must reside in the United States.
