CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer join the team in Charleston, SC-\*can also be remote! We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the network's security, performance, and scalability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (CVOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCSS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-

• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Lead the planning, configuration, and optimization of network systems, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide root cause analysis, resolving incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and other departments to integrate network solutions with the organization's systems.
• Perform regular network performance monitoring and conduct capacity planning to ensure the network can handle growing demands.
• Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
