Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Overview:

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role is based in Charleston, SC but may be remote. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the network's security, performance, and scalability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

This position includes responsibility for proactive customer systems and audit support and participation in an after‑hours on‑call rotation to support customer needs. Candidates with Appian or MarkLogic subject‑matter expertise are strongly preferred due to the technologies used across our customer environments.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-

• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Lead the planning, configuration, and optimization of network systems, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide root cause analysis, resolving incidents in a timely manner.
