Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Role

• Provide timely, accurate, and client-focused support for derivatives applications to investment professionals, traders, and operations teams.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Calypso and related custom-built or third-party applications supporting the derivatives lifecycle.
• Investigate complex application, data, workflow, and integration issues; determine root causes and coordinate solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of derivatives business processes, application capabilities, system integrations, and data flows.
• Partner with business users to understand needs, evaluate solution options, and translate challenges into practical system configurations or process improvements.
• Perform business and technical analysis for urgent production issues, application enhancements, and new business requests.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing business-critical applications within asset management, capital markets, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and the investment lifecycle.
• Knowledge of derivative instruments and workflows (trade creation, execution, valuation, processing, settlement) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Calypso, Murex, or a comparable trading/investment-management OMS.
• Hands-on SQL and strong Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and prototyping.
