Senior Business Analyst – Life Sciences (AWS, Data & Analytics)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Senior Functional Business Analyst with strong Life Sciences domain expertise to support cloud-native solutions built on AWS. This role focuses on functional ownership, requirement discovery, and stakeholder collaboration for data, analytics, and AI-driven platforms within pharma, clinical, R&D, supply chain, or commercial Life Sciences environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead functional requirement gathering with **Life Sciences business, clinical, and operations stakeholders**
• Translate business needs into **functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria**
• Act as the **bridge between Life Sciences domain users and AWS delivery teams**
• Support functional design for **AWS-based data, analytics, and AI platforms**
• Define **data requirements, business rules, and functional workflows**
• Participate in **Agile ceremonies** including sprint planning, grooming, and reviews
• Support **UAT, business validation, and sign-off**
• Ensure **documentation, traceability, and compliance** in regulated environments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• **8–12 years** of experience as a **Business Analyst / Functional Consultant**
• Strong **Life Sciences domain experience** (Pharma, Clinical, R&D, Supply Chain, or Commercial)
• Experience working on **cloud platforms**, preferably **AWS**
• Understanding of **data, analytics, and AI/ML solution lifecycles**
• Hands-on experience writing **functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria**
• Experience working in **Agile/Scrum** environments
• Proficiency with **JIRA, Confluence**, or similar tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Exposure to **AWS analytics or AI services**
• Experience in **regulated or compliance-driven environments**
• Background in **data analytics, reporting, or digital transformation**
