Senior Back-End Software Engineer (Python/AI)


We have an immediate need for a Senior Software Engineer to join a management consulting company for a 1-year contract. The client is looking for a strong back-end focus (80-85%), supporting enterprise-grade application development that integrates existing Generative AI (GenAI) models (e.g., ChatGPT, Mistral, Gemini). This role combines hands-on back-end engineering with the ability to apply AI capabilities and troubleshoot across the full stack - particularly in enterprise environments.

• Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone Business Hours)
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 80-100/HR W2 plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Contribute as a hands-on engineer building high-quality, enterprise-grade B2B software products and platforms
• Lead development of specific technical components while influencing product design and overall system architecture
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure software that meets high standards for performance and reliability
• Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes
• Break down user stories into technical tasks and support agile delivery from development through deployment
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced debugging support for production environments
• Identify and adopt new technologies, tools, and frameworks to solve complex engineering challenges
