Senior Accountant (Manufacturing/Inventory)

Our client in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage standard costing for materials, labor, and overhead, including variance analysis.
• Perform month-end cost accounting close and inventory reconciliations.
• Analyze inventory valuations and support physical inventory processes.
• Reconcile inventory reports to the general ledger.
• Assist with annual audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate product costing and financial reporting.
• Support operational and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 4+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, onsite work environment in the Los Angeles area.
