We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support core general ledger accounting and play a critical role in executing the month-end close process within a growing technology services organization.

This role is ideal for a self-driven, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute wherever needed. You will work closely with the Controller and VP of Finance, with visibility into financial operations, process improvement, and growth initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Month-End Close and General Ledger Ownership

• Own and drive the monthly close process
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts in line with audit standards
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity and schedules
• Analyze variances and ensure financial accuracy
• Play a key role in preparing the majority of close deliverables, working closely with the Controller who retains overall ownership

Operational Accounting

• Support AP, AR, payroll, and expense processes as needed
• Assist with revenue recognition and deferred revenue
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation
• Support audit preparation and external requests

Process Improvement and Growth Support

• Identify gaps in close and improve efficiency over time
• Help shift work into pre-close to shorten close timelines
• Support system enhancements, integrations, and acquisitions
• Contribute to building scalable accounting processes

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Work cross-functionally with operations and leadership
• Support ad hoc requests in a fast-paced, growing environment

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (active or in progress)
• 4+ years of accounting experience in public or industry
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
