We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. This role combines hands-on bookkeeping with financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP/AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, and project expense tracking
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
• Oversee purchase orders, vendor payments (via Melio), and fixed asset records
• Monitor financial activity and resolve discrepancies

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze trends, variances, and cash flow to provide insights for management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Support project profitability and cost management

3. Payroll & Compliance

• Process payroll through Gusto and manage employee benefits, 401(k) contributions, and reimbursements
• Coordinate and strategize with external CPA for tax preparation and filings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxes, licenses, and regulatory obligations
