PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services LLC is seeking a Project Accountant II to support the finance and accounting team of a major Southern California community college district capital bond program.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process Bond Program invoices and encumbrances per accounting procedures
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoice documentation
• Ensure invoice and encumbrance entries in PMIS (Proliance) are accurate with supporting documentation
• Resolve integration issues between Proliance and Deltek Costpoint
• Evaluate bond compliance on all payment requests
• Reconcile financial accounts and escrow bank statements
• Prepare journal entries and debit/credit memos
• Develop new reports supporting transparency into program expenditures
• Communicate with construction and professional services vendors on invoice and payment matters

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable
• Associate's degree or college certificate (additional experience may substitute year for year)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word
• Ability to perform historical trend analysis and create and analyze financial reports
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Construction or public agency accounting experience
• Proliance or Costpoint exposure
