Newtek One is looking to add a Senior Accountant to the team!

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, including daily cash reconciliations, vendor invoice processing, and the monthly general ledger close. This role supports multiple subsidiaries and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including balance sheet and income statement analysis, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and record business transactions for designated electronic payment processing entities.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliation at period close.
• Manage employee expense reports, ensuring accurate recording and timely submission to payroll for reimbursement.
