Essential Functions

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Develop annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Perform analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights to clients.
  • Schedule MS Teams video calls with clients to discuss financial reports.
  • Present financial statements, KPI reports, and variance analyses during monthly and quarterly client meetings.
  • Maintain ongoing and positive communication with assigned clients and CPAs.
  • Spearhead accounting catch-up/clean-up projects for newly assigned clients.
  • Interpret IRS updates and create customized process flows or guides for the team.
  • Proactively develop process guides for tasks where the team needs additional guidance or when new tasks are introduced.
  • Delegation & Review Responsibilities
  • Manage and delegate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual engagements.
  • Perform accurate monthly bookkeeping reviews for complex clients.
  • Ensure the accounting team updates client checklists in Karbon for all tasks.
  • Manage and review QuickBooks file clean-ups for newly onboarded clients.
  • Train team members on new client assignments, when applicable.
  • Delegate bookkeeping and accounting tasks to the accounting team as new clients are onboarded.
