We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
with strong expertise in
Java and Playwright
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust automated testing frameworks. This role requires excellent programming skills, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Exposure to
functional testing
is a plus to ensure comprehensive end-to-end application quality.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Playwright
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform functional testing to validate application features and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies and test cases
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Identify, track, and report defects using standard defect management tools
• Analyze test execution results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers
• Optimize test execution processes to improve reliability and reduce runtime
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts and frameworks
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and DevOps
