Roofing Sales Representative

Responsibilities

You will conduct door-to-door outreach to meet homeowners, inspect properties for damage, and manage the insurance claim and repair process. Additionally, you will prepare project proposals and coordinate projects from the initial agreement through to final payment.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle capable of carrying a ladder, and a smartphone. You must be comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, and walking on roofs.

At Shamrock Roofing & Construction, your income is tied to your effort. We’ll train you, pay training bonuses while you learn, and give you a clear path to higher commission, a company truck and a Project Manager role.

What You’ll Sell
Residential roofing, gutter and siding repair and replacement for homeowners.

How You’re Paid
Project Manager in Training (first 20 claims): 25% commission on your first 5 completed projects, plus $125 for every insurance claim you file and $125 for every approved scope
After training: 35% commission per project
40% commission after $250,000 in closed sales
50% commission after $500,000 in closed sales
Company truck after $750,000 in closed sales
There’s no base salary or hourly wage. You never pay a fee to join, and you don’t need to buy inventory, leads or a starter kit.

What You’ll Do
Meet homeowners through door-to-door outreach in local neighborhoods, plus referrals and company-provided leads (door-to-door outreach is a core part of the role)
Inspect roofs, gutters and siding, and document any damage
Walk homeowners through the insurance claim process
Prepare and present project proposals
Coordinate each project from signed agreement through completion and payment

You’ll Do Well Here If You’re
Self-motivated, coachable and comfortable talking with homeowners
Coming from sales, retail, restaurants, the military or sports, or new to sales and ready to learn
Comfortable working outdoors, climbing a ladder and walking a roof

Requirements
18 or older with a valid driver’s license
A reliable vehicle that can carry a ladder (company trucks may be available to drivers 21+ with a clean driving record)
A smartphone
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
