Retail Store Analytics Business Analyst


Location: BayArea, CA (Remote PST Hours)
Duration: Long term contract
Role Bridge between store ops, buying, finance, and data engineering translating reporting needs into data requirements.
Responsibilities

• Document and validate reporting requirements across sales, inventory, and finance
• Define semantic layer data requirements for the above reporting
• Validate migrated reports against legacy system outputs (UAT)
• Support phased POS rollout across stores as reporting SME

Required

• 3+ years retail analytics or BA experience
• Manhattan POS hands-on, must-have
• Strong grasp of retail KPIs (AUR, UPT, ATV, margin, sell-through)
• SQL proficiency for data validation and ad hoc analysis
• Experience translating business logic into technical specs

Nice to Have

• TeamWorks or other legacy POS experience
• Google Cloud Platform BigQuery / cloud data warehouse exposure
