Project Manager (US Residential Experience required)

About this role

Job Description:

• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager across multiple ongoing construction projects.
• Monitor and update project schedules, tracking logs, RFIs, submittals, action items, and change management records.
• Organize project meetings, document discussion points, and circulate meeting notes and follow-up items to relevant stakeholders.
• Support cost monitoring activities including budget tracking, invoice coordination, and cost code management within construction management platforms such as Buildertrend.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, specifications, permits, site photos, and project correspondence.
• Prepare standard project documentation including RFIs, transmittals, and internal/external communications for review and approval.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and field personnel regarding pending deliverables, inspections, timelines, and project updates.
• Assist in preparing client progress reports, draw request documentation, and construction progress summaries.
• Support procurement and tendering activities including issuance of bid requests, consolidation of subcontractor quotations, and bid comparison tracking.
• Proactively identify schedule conflicts, coordination issues, or project risks and escalate them to the Project Manager accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience in construction, with exposure to residential remodel, ground-up, or design-build delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to remotely manage live construction projects with on-site field teams.
• Strong command of construction financial management: budgets, cost codes, change orders, pay apps, and draw packages.
• Proficiency with construction management software — Buildertrend experience strongly preferred; Procore or similar acceptable.
