What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage the CAISO settlement process, including validating statements and resolving discrepancies
• Review and validate bilateral counterparty settlements for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
• Validate transactions of wholesale market products, ensuring compliance with contracts
• Provide accurate accruals and timely data to Finance for assigned contracts
• Conduct strategic analysis to identify trends affecting operations and communicate findings to stakeholders

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in energy settlements, scheduling, compliance, market operations, or planning
• Experience in ISO and bilateral wholesale electricity market settlements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with CAISO energy market and associated charge codes
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
