Residential Roofing Project Manager – Field OperationsAbout the Role
Mike Home Improvements is seeking an experienced Residential Roofing Project Manager to take full ownership of the execution of our roofing and exterior projects.
This is a hands-on, field-based operations role. We are not looking for someone who simply visits jobsites and checks progress. We are looking for a strong operator who can take responsibility for a project from material delivery through final cleanup and ensure that every job is completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and to our quality standards.
Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class experience for every homeowner. The Project Manager is the person responsible for making that happen in the field.
You will manage subcontractor crews, coordinate material deliveries, inspect workmanship, identify unforeseen conditions and change orders, protect the homeowner's property, communicate continuously with the customer, and ensure the project stays on schedule.
For a standard residential roof replacement, our expectation is to have the project properly completed within one production day whenever project size, weather, safety, and job conditions allow — without sacrificing workmanship or quality.
This position requires someone with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, professionalism, organization, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Jobsite & Crew Management
- Take ownership of assigned roofing projects from the start of production through final completion.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor crews to ensure projects begin on time, remain properly staffed, and progress according to schedule.
- Set clear expectations with crews regarding workmanship, production standards, property protection, cleanup, and jobsite conduct.
- Monitor production throughout the day and proactively address anything that could prevent the project from being completed on schedule.
