About the role
ScalableOS is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Cybersecurity & Professional Services to join its Project Management Office (PMO). This role will manage a high volume of cybersecurity and professional services engagements from project kickoff through completion. The Project Manager will oversee 20–30+ concurrent client engagements, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, vCISO advisory, tabletop exercises, NIST/CMMC gap assessments, incident response planning, and recurring cybersecurity retainer services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to effectively coordinate technical teams, clients, executives, and account managers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 20–30+ concurrent cybersecurity and professional services projects.
- Lead internal and client-facing project kickoffs and coordinate project resources.
- Track project scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and blockers.
- Provide clear and timely project updates to clients, executives, engineers, and account managers.
- Coordinate schedules for penetration tests, tabletop exercises, assessments, and client meetings.
- Monitor contract renewal dates, expirations, and auto-renewal terms for recurring engagements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate technical project information and cybersecurity findings into clear, business-friendly communications.
- Develop a working knowledge of cybersecurity services sufficient to manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
About you
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT, cybersecurity, technology, or professional services.
