Product Sales Manager (Academic Library)

About this role

Clarivate is seeking to hire a Product Sales Manager to join our Academia & Government team! As a Product Sales Manager, you will drive sales activity for ProQuest and Clarivate Academia & Government content portfolio within the west coast territory in the United States. In collaboration with Account Managers, you will have the exciting role of product sales manager, articulating the value proposition whether as a single product sale or as part of a large portfolio. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, or presentations, articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality
• 5+ years of technology and/or online content sales

It Would Be Great If You Also Had…

• Previous experience selling into the academic library community.
• Experience selling scholarly content, including databases, ebooks, primary sources, streaming media, and research solutions.
• Knowledge of academic library acquisition models, including subscriptions.
• Experience using AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and business outcomes.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

• Focus on new business development by identifying opportunities, creating target lists, prospecting, and participating in territory planning in partnership with Account Managers.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the PQIS and Books portfolio, including primary sources, ebooks, databases, news, dissertations, video, streaming media, and multidisciplinary research content.
• Articulate the value proposition of individual products and portfolio solutions to support customer teaching, learning, and research goals.
