Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, develop, implement and maintain Group Insurance applications using cloud technologies including technical leadership of a team of engineers working in an Agile onshore-offshore model. Lead the modernization efforts of the application set to increase agility to handle ever changing policy and regulatory provisions. Modernize a monolithic JAVA/COBOL/CICS/VSAM/DB2 application into a Java/Microservices/Micro-frontend/Salesforce.com on cloud. Collaborate with enterprise Architecture to ensure adherence to corporate strategy and establishment of guardrails for development teams to operate within. Collaborate with development team members (including offshore consultants) in designing, developing, and testing the system modification.
