Role Purpose:
This Data Centre Operation Control Centre Manager role is to be fully accountable for the performance and efficiency of the OCC MANAGER.
The Role will operate from Monday to Friday (08:00 to 17:00).
This role is to Manage a team who will be the first response to all critical alarm notifications across campuses and will provide the remote support and client communications as per the incident management process.
To effectively supervise the day-to-day operation of the area’s maintenance team to ensure the effective and efficient operation of hard Services facilities across data centres.
To ensure constant high level service delivery is maintained and reactive task are completed on time within customer SLA.
The OCC MANAGER will manage switching operations across site utilising the Engineering shift teams to support.
The role will organise the Data Centre critical switching and arrange Mock Drills to support the task and build continuous improvement into everything the site team carries out.
The OCC MANAGER is also to manage all incidents across site, both project and operational, and ensure the correct communication process is followed.
Ensure all reactive and breakdown works to all M&E Systems and infrastructure within the confines of the campus compound are completed promptly.
