About this role

Change the world. Love your job.

Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Offsite Manufacturing
(OSM) Project Manager with dedicated expertise in Manufacturing Equipment
Installation (MEI). In this role, you will lead a team that focuses on the
prefabrication, installation, commissioning, and startup of 300mm Manufacturing
Equipment. You will also be responsible for coordinating with key suppliers to
coordinate their offsite manufacturing to ensure the prefabrication of utility
skids and modular assemblies are built to specification, transported safely, and
integrated seamlessly into the facility's physical and utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Project Manager: Oversee projects from pre-construction through final
closeout. You will manage project budgets, master schedules, risk mitigation,
and compliance while leading cross-functional teams of engineers,
technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time,
and within budget.
* Manufacturing Equipment Installation: Lead the end-to-end execution of
manufacturing equipment installation, from the initial design (developing
detailed installation packages), design reviews, detailed equipment and
utility layouts and utility hookups (electrical, pneumatic, process piping,
exhaust, life safety systems, bases), commissioning and utility start up.
Field coordination with technicians and suppliers.
* Offsite Manufacturing Integration: Collaborate with key suppliers and
equipment manufacturers to monitor the production of modular utility skids
and/or utility components, ensuring design compliance and adherence to
published specifications. Track the OSM % that the supplier delivers for tool
prefabrication. Identify and implement any innovations that can deliver
higher OSM % or timing/cost efficiencies.
* Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Coordinate and participate in FAT at
offsite manufacturing facilities to verify equipment performance and
compliance before shipment to the construction site as needed.
* 3D BIM Modeling and Coordination: Develop, modify, and maintain
discipline-specific 3D models using core BIM software, adhering strictly to
project standards and geometry logic. This includes Clash Detection &
Coordination, BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Enforcement, Data & Quality control.
* Logistics Coordination: Manage complex logistics schedules for manufacturing
equipment, overseeing Electrical and High/Low Purity piping contractors, Life
Safety System installations, tool base design, fabrication and installation.
This includes full integration of Offsite Manufacturing to ensure schedule
compliance.
* Utility & Facility Alignment: Ensure site civil, structural, and MEP
(Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) infrastructure is ready to receive offsite
manufactured utility skids and fabrications, managing the precise alignment
of point-of-connection utilities. Proper adherence to space management plans
(hierarchy).
* Schedule & Supplier Management: Maintain master project schedules that
balance offsite manufacturing lead times with onsite facility preparation and
equipment commissioning phases and aligns with the customer needs. Detailed
oversight of equipment set dates and installation durations.+
