What you'll be doing:

• Lead architecture and system design across frontend, backend, DevOps, and infrastructure.
• Bring clarity to teams and prevent miscommunication before it impacts delivery.
• Work across frontend, backend, mobile, QA, and DevOps to keep everything aligned.
• Understand and reason about how data travels over networks, through servers, and onto real hardware.
• Guide decisions on APIs, data models, boundaries, performance, reliability, and deployments.
• Review designs and code to ensure maintainability and stability in production.
• Represent the CTO in technical discussions and client calls.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering quality across teams.

What we are looking for:

• 6–10+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong polyglot skills - comfortable working across multiple languages & frameworks.
• Experience building production systems from scratch, not only maintaining existing ones.
• A track record of personal side projects, experiments, or complex systems built for your own needs.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, networking, DNS, routing, proxies, and system behavior.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, cloud platforms, and observability.
• Ability to reason about performance, scaling, caching, latency, and bottlenecks.
• Strong system design skills — both big-picture architecture and low-level insights.
• Clear communication and ability to keep multi-team engineering efforts aligned.

Additional skills to be considered as a plus:

• Exposure to distributed or event-driven systems.
• Applied experience in designing internal tools, libraries, or platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical ideas to both engineers and clients.
