What you can expect
As a DevOps Engineer, you will deploy and operate data center and cloud software infrastructure. This senior role within the Security DevOps team oversees critical production systems, including secrets management, deployment pipelines, and PKI. Responsibilities include defining and implementing projects to enable features, improve system safety, enhance security, and reduce costs. Expertise in running Kubernetes in the cloud and applying security best practices is essential. Proficiency in explaining complex concepts to engineers, leaders, and security experts is required. This role demands strategic thinking, balancing trade-offs, and adapting plans to achieve key objectives for stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities
Defining and drive projects that modernize our secrets management infrastructure and/or deliver automation. Work across teams to get your projects done, while also making significant direct hands-on contributions to the projects. Drive improvements to the security posture across Zoom. Influence the direction of developer teams that own security infrastructure components. Produce designs and lead more junior team members through their implementation and deployment to production at scale, using modern best practices (e.g. IaC) Communicate with stakeholders including security teams and senior managers.
What we’re looking for
- Possess a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar
