Lead Ruby on Rails Full-Stack Developer (Ruby + React)

We are seeking a
Lead Ruby on Rails Full-Stack Developer
with solid expertise in Ruby and React to join our dynamic team.

As a key contributor, you will enhance application performance, solve complex challenges, and ensure system stability while collaborating within an Agile environment to uphold engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Ensure scalable backend architecture and contribute to full-stack development
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues impacting product performance
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product Management teams to meet project goals
• Perform thorough code reviews to maintain engineering standards
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and refine development workflows
• Support CI/CD processes and address issues in development and production environments

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in software development
• Strong expertise in Ruby (3.x), Ruby on Rails (Rails 7), and PostgreSQL
• Front-end development experience with React
• Familiarity with GitLab and Jenkins
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to self-organize in a collaborative environment
• English proficiency suitable for effective interaction within an international team

Nice to have

• Experience working with AWS
• Understanding of Kubernetes
• Experience with containerization
