About this role
Hosto.ai is the AI cohost for Airbnb hosts. It answers guests in the host's voice at 2am, syncs calendars across channels, fills empty nights, and runs cleaners. Five million owner-operators are running short-term rentals on the side of full-time lives — and every tool built for them so far has helped them work faster, not actually do the work. Hosto is the bet that they want their lives back instead of a better dashboard.
You'll own growth across the entire product funnel and the user lifecycle — from the headline a host clicks in a ad to the email that brings them back from a paused trial. This is product marketing as a closed loop: positioning that fits the product, copy that survives the funnel, lifecycle that compounds.
In this role, you will:
- Own the funnel end-to-end — signup → activation → trial → paid → retained. Set the model, run the experiments
- Own trial-to-paid conversion — design the trial experience, the upgrade moment, and the pricing copy that turns active trials into paying hosts
- Run the full lifecycle program — onboarding sequence, in-product messaging, winback for paused trials, expansion for hosts adding properties
- Sharpen positioning as the product evolves — Hosto is creating a new category. Your job is to find the words that get hosts to nod, that make the value obvious in five seconds, that hold up against a dozen lookalikes
- Own the landing page and message-to-market fit — the LP is the conversion engine. Test headlines, proof points, social proof, layout
- Build the activation moment — design the moment a new host first feels Hosto earn its keep
Requirements
- 6+ years of product marketing, with at least 2 owning self-serve B2C or low-ACV B2B SaaS funnels
- You've moved an activation or trial-conversion metric — and can show the before-and-after on a real funnel
- Lifecycle marketing in your bones — you've owned an onboarding sequence, a winback program, an in-product messaging framework.
- You know which too...
