WebCreek is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in a fully remote position open to candidates based in Latin America.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional software development experience and proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework and one backend language or framework. This role is well suited for a product-minded developer with experience building web applications, integrating RESTful APIs, working with relational databases, and delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
You will contribute across the application stack, take ownership of well-defined tasks and smaller features, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams. We are looking for someone who can work with increasing independence, solve technical problems thoughtfully, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain web applications across the frontend and backend.
- Translate product and technical requirements into functional, reliable software.
- Take ownership of well-defined development tasks and smaller application features.
- Build clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Refactor and modernize existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using effective debugging, algorithmic, and scripting techniques.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user needs and business objectives.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to generate boilerplate code, write tests, troubleshoot errors, and streamline repetitive tasks.
