## Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking Junior Software Engineer to support a development of enterprise applications. This individual will support the technical design and development efforts including migration of legacy/on-prem applications to AWS cloud and related technologies.

Work Location: Onsite; Lanham, Maryland

Shift Schedule: 8am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)

What You Will Do:

• Support application architecture, design, development, unit testing, implementation, and production support activities under the direction of technical leadership of the development team.
• Design and develop solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Informatica, and JBoss.
• Develop and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.
• Design, deploy, and support containerized services using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Support implementing the proposed technical design, coding standards, architecture, and development best practices.
• Review technical designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and performance.
