An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence sector is looking for an Entry-Level Software Engineer - Developer. This role supports the software development team within the defence services division, focusing on research and development for complex platform performance. What you'll be doing

• Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the lifecycle

• Translate customer requirements into initial software designs and system integrations

• Develop and document software architectures, requirements, algorithms, and interfaces

• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure product reliability and efficiency

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks while monitoring key performance metrics

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience

• Professional or academic experience working with C++ or Java

• Familiarity with host environments including processors, operating systems, and networks

• Ability to collaborate on technical research and development projects

• Eligible to access export-controlled information and obtain required security clearances
