We are seeking a motivated
Junior Software Developer
to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior developers to build, maintain, and optimize modern applications using
Java
,
AWS cloud services
, and both
SQL
and
NoSQL
databases. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, collaborate, and leverage

to accelerate high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend components using Java and related frameworks.
- Assist in designing and building scalable solutions on AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB).
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to create efficient data models and queries.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting across the stack.
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q, etc..) to improve speed and reliability.
- Contribute to documentation, technical discussions, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Foundational knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Familiarity with AWS services, cloud concepts, or relevant coursework/projects.
- Basic experience with SQL and understanding of relational databases.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.
- Interest in using AI tools to enhance coding, testing, and documentation.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs or microservices.
- Experience with version control tools (Git).
