Junior QA Engineer

Job Description:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you play an essential role in the software development lifecycle. You will take charge of the quality strategy within your assigned agile team to ensure the product meets the expected quality standards. You will also be responsible for making sure appropriate level of testing is carried out throughout the design and development phases. This includes identifying necessary automated tests, designing automation workflows, and working alongside software engineers to implement them. You will track and confirm that each release meets its business goals once it goes live. Additionally, you will support your agile team in maintaining a fast and efficient development pace.

Responsibility:

• Take ownership of the quality strategy within your assigned agile team to ensure product excellence

• Define and drive testing practices across the full development lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to build quality into design and implementation

• Design and plan necessary test automation flows, working side-by-side with software engineers

• Monitor releases and ensure each update meets business KPIs and performs well in production

• Contribute to the team’s delivery speed and quality, helping to release better products faster

• Hands-on experience in an agile software team that values quality ownership and teamwork

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

• Ability to code or read code in at least one programming language

• 2 years and above of experience in a software development-related role (new graduates are welcome!)

• Familiarity with test automation tools or strategies is a strong plus

• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking) for international collaboration
