As a Junior Business Analyst in New York, you'll prepare regulatory reports, manage key accounting processes, and help standardize procedures across departments. Using SQL and advanced Excel, you'll automate reporting, support audits, and contribute to database‑optimization projects. • Ensure financial data is prepared, validated, and submitted in full compliance with U.S. regulatory standards (Federal Reserve, NYDFS, Department of Commerce).
• Perform timely financial analysis, reporting, and monthly accounting processes, including master data maintenance and cross‑departmental procedure alignment.
• Support audits and drive process improvements while managing data flows, automating reporting, and delivering SQL‑based analytics solutions.
• Produce ad‑hoc and management reports, assist with administrative tasks, and contribute to projects that enhance database structure and functionality.
• Strengthen data governance, conduct data mining and scenario analysis, build business cases and tools, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share insights that inform strategy.
