IT Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

The IT Cloud Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments. They will also build automation tools to minimize errors and provide Tier 3 operational support for systems.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with at least three years of experience in an IT infrastructure role. A minimum of one IT industry certification, such as MCSE or CCNA, is also required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for installing and maintaining IT cloud-based applications, systems and associated infrastructures; finding and fixing issues within systems and implementing, monitoring; building tools that automate repetitive tasks to minimize errors and prevent downtime.

EXPECTATIONS                         

* Install, configure, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS integrations and solutions.
* Maintain cloud/on-prem hybrid environment until fully migrated to the cloud.
1. Compute – Cisco UCS
2. Networking – Cisco/Meraki
3. Storage – Cisco Hyperflex, NetApp
* Create system diagrams and documentation as needed
* Provide Tier 3 operational support as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

REQUISITES

* Bachelor’s Degree, University Program Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Three or more years’ experience in a IT Infrastructure role in an enterprise environment
