Industrial Design Product Manager

About this role

Plateful is a fast-growing US e-commerce brand selling non-toxic cookware and kitchen appliances. You will own our product pipeline from concept to launch: briefing and managing external industrial designers, packaging designers, and factory design teams, and driving the commercial side of product expansion. You will work directly with the CEO, our China sourcing team, and suppliers to take new products from idea to shelf-ready, and build the business case (costs, pricing, margins) for every launch.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing physical consumer product development (cookware, kitchenware, or home goods a plus)
• Experience briefing and managing external industrial designers, packaging designers, or factory engineering teams
• Strong commercial instincts: costs, pricing, margins, and what makes a product worth launching
• Experience working with China-based manufacturers and suppliers
• Great taste and high standards for premium product and packaging design
• Fluent English; organized, fast-moving, and comfortable across time zones
