Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Software Engineer (Human Data Platforms) to work on a contractual basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure to support human-centric AI applications. The work directly impacts the reliability and performance of platforms processing large-scale human data for machine learning models. Focus will be on optimizing data pipelines and ensuring seamless integration between human data sources and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend systems for processing structured and unstructured human data at scale.

• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of human data to downstream AI models.

• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to optimize data pipelines for training and inference workflows.

• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to maintain high standards of code quality and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data platforms or backend systems.

• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language such as Java or Go for scalable backend development.

• Experience with distributed systems, message queues, and database technologies (e.g., Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with data serialization formats (JSON, Avro, Protobuf) and API design best practices for high-throughput systems.
