Job Description:

Location Details:  Remote Location.

Position Schedule / Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

*NOTE -* This is a temporary position and is not eligible for company benefits.

Position Summary: Serves as a team member in designing, developing, implementing, and/or supporting moderately complex distributed or web-based information systems.  Supports project tasks and codes and test programs and develops system documentation (e.g.; structure charts, screen designs, data flow diagrams, file layouts, report layouts, and job run descriptions) in accordance with IS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of moderately complex web-based and distributed applications, while contributing to project deliverables, coding, system testing, and technical documentation in accordance with established IT standards.

Qualifications:

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

• College coursework in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience:

• Distributed, and/or web-based system development
• Programming languages (e.g., COBOL II, J2E)
• Database management systems (e.g., IMS DB, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Access)
• Web development (HTML)
• PC fundamental tools (MS Office

Knowledge and Skills:

- Structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing
- Mainframe and/or distributed computing fundamentals and concepts
- Systems operation practices
- Analyze business problems
- Demonstrating strong analytical and investigative ability
- Communicate effectively in a business setting
