The Engineering team works on multiple digital properties at Fortune: from the editorial website, conferences, Fortune Recommends and others. Our goal is to launch new products to build on our core competencies of content, events and education, in order to diversify our revenue streams; and to improve the experience and monetization of existing properties.

Fortune Media is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer, someone who is a fast learner and eager to explore new technologies, to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital media. You will be a key contributor in building and maintaining the high-performance, scalable systems that power our renowned publications, and you'll have a direct impact on driving growth for our business. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Next.js, backend technologies, and Content Management Systems (CMS) to impact millions of readers worldwide.

AI-Driven Development

We are aggressively embracing AI to drastically improve the productivity of our engineering team and fundamentally shift how we approach application development. You will leverage AI-powered tools like Cursor to accelerate your coding, enabling you to:

• Build stand-alone applications and internal tools for editors and team productivity in days rather than weeks.
• Rapidly prototype new features by moving seamlessly from design tools like Figma Make to functional code.
