Concept Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a dedicated team of Information Technology (IT) professionals supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Command, Control, and Communications (C3) office. The C3 office carries a critical strategic mandate: ensuring FAA managers maintain daily situational awareness and uninterrupted continuity of communications during severe national emergencies, natural disasters, or critical equipment malfunctions. Should disruptions occur, the C3 office is chartered with executing rapid disaster recovery and restoring essential communication services expeditiously. This position is remote within 2 hours drive of Washington DC.
The Mid-Level Full Stack Developer focuses on building, maintaining, and modernizing critical enterprise web applications, bridging legacy on-premises systems with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. The primary objective of this role is to participate in a team effort to refactor and migrate legacy web applications and workflows from Microsoft SharePoint Subscriber Edition (On-Premises) to modern, open-source technology stacks hosted on AWS (including AWS GovCloud and AWS Outposts environments). This effort will include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to refactor legacy code.
Working as a member of the DevSecOps team, this role ensures all front-end and back-end code is highly performant, accessible, and robustly secure, supporting highly available mission-essential functions under a FISMA Moderate framework. This position is vital to modernizing legacy application interfaces into secure cloud architectures, remediating findings from automated security pipelines, and establishing resilient, error-tolerant workflows for continuity of operations.
