Who we are looking for
Develop, modernize, and support mission-critical Multi Asset class Trading applications supporting State Street Markets businesses. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications using modern Java technologies, cloud-native architectures, event-driven integration patterns, and modern web technologies. The role requires close collaboration with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting trading and investment management workflows.
What you will be responsible for
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and related technologies.
- Modernize legacy applications into scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Design and implement REST APIs, messaging solutions, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Develop and optimize data access layers using Hibernate, Oracle Exadata, and PostgreSQL.
- Build event-driven solutions using Kafka and streaming platforms.
- Design applications for security, availability, scalability, resiliency, and operational supportability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues through root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Partner with business, architecture, and global technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
