## About the Role
We’re a growing business with several in-house and client-facing applications supported by Microsoft 365 cloud services and a hybrid infrastructure environment. We’re looking for a motivated IT Application Developer to help maintain and improve our internal software systems and broader technology environment.
This role focuses primarily on application development, system improvement, and automation, with some involvement in general IT operations.
You’ll develop and maintain .NET web, desktop, and mobile applications, improve internal tools and workflows, and assist with modernising legacy systems. You’ll also support Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity initiatives, and day-to-day IT operations within a collaborative small business environment.
The role suits someone who can operate autonomously, solve technical problems, and work across both development and IT systems.
## Key Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, and enhance internal and client-facing applications using C# in a .NET environment.
· Support modernisation initiatives, including migration toward newest .NET technologies and improved application architecture.
· Maintain and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases.
· Manage all aspects of IIS-hosted web applications.
· Develop automation and administration scripts using PowerShell.
· Assist with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and cloud platform administration.
· Support cybersecurity improvement initiatives aligned to Essential Eight and ISO 27001 frameworks.
· Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational records.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting across systems and applications.
