Role Description:

We are looking for a Founding Product Engineer, AI Data Platform to help build the core product layer of Semogram.

This is an early, hands-on engineering role for someone who can move across product, data systems, AI workflows, and user-facing interfaces.

You will work on the systems that turn messy operational data into structured ontology state, predictive workflows, evidence, and reviewable decision outputs.

What you will work on:

• Build product surfaces for creating, running, and reviewing predictive decision workflows

• Design and implement data ingestion flows for operational systems

• Work on entity, event, relationship, signal, confidence, and citation extraction

• Develop interfaces for evidence, provenance, reproducibility, and governance

• Collaborate directly with the founding team on product direction and early customer workflows

What we are looking for:

• Strong full-stack product engineering ability

• Experience with TypeScript, React, backend systems, and data-heavy applications

• Comfort working with LLMs, AI workflows, evals, or structured extraction systems

• Strong product judgment and ability to work from ambiguous requirements

• Interest in data platforms, decision intelligence, ontology systems, or operational AI

• Ability to build quickly without turning prototypes into throwaway systems

This is a founding role. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, direct customer feedback, and building the foundations of a product from first principles.
