Fintech Startup Software Engineer - Focus Capital Markets

About this role

In this role, you will design and develop scalable services and distributed systems architecture for ultra high traffic, low latent trading services. You will also develop and implement real-time monitoring and messaging services.


You will be part of a best-of-breed engineering team poised for massive growth financially, while also receiving equity in the company.


Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Prior experience in Golang or Rust is preferred. Ultra low latent C++ is acceptable as well.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Knowledge of fixed income and algo trading is a plus.
• Prior professional experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Docker or Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Prior startup experience is also a plus
• A bachelors or higher in computer science or a related field
• Must have excellent communication skills.
