is seeking a
Financial Business Analyst
for a fully remote opportunity working with public sector child support systems.


NOTE:
Candidates must be located outside of South Carolina, and willing to work east coast time.

: W2 position


Travel
: Required to visit the facility as needed throughout the engagement, approximately once per quarter. Must be onsite Day 1 and 2 of the assignment to receive equipment, system access, ID cards, badges and training.


Position summary:

• During this assignment, the Financial Business Analyst will report to the state functional manager to provide status updates on assigned tasks.
• The Analyst should be able to work independently with minimum guidance to enhance the current application’s user interface to be interactive and self-guided primarily in financial areas of SC Child Support Application.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the agency’s Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations.
• Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points.
• Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business requirements.
• Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS.
• Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments.
• Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs.
