About The Role
The Design Project Manager position is a vital role within the engineering team, focusing on supporting product development, application, and technical initiatives. This role is not related to construction project management but is centered around managing engineering projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, setting objectives, and ensuring that project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant project management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
