## About the Role

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive AI and machine learning initiatives across guest and operations. This remote role will lead the design, development, evaluation, and optimization of AI solutions while providing hands-on technical leadership, mentoring peers, and influencing AI/ML architecture.

The Lead Data Scientist will collaborate with ML and engineering teams, data teams, and product stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact. The role also emphasizes scalable data and machine learning pipelines, responsible AI practices, and strong software engineering principles.

## Key Responsibilities

\* Lead the design, development, evaluation, and optimization of AI and machine learning solutions.

\* Drive AI/ML initiatives supporting guest and operational experiences.

\* Provide hands-on technical leadership across AI/ML projects and solutions.

\* Influence AI/ML architecture and technical direction.

\* Develop and support scalable data and machine learning pipelines.

\* Collaborate with machine learning, engineering, and data teams.

\* Partner with product stakeholders to translate AI/ML capabilities into measurable impact.

\* Mentor peers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

\* Promote responsible AI practices throughout the development and deployment of AI solutions.

\* Apply strong software engineering practices to AI/ML development.
